Overview
For more than three decades I've had the privilege of helping shape products ranging from consumer experiences and emerging technologies to enterprise platforms used by millions of people. This page isn't intended to be a portfolio of polished deliverables. Instead, it's a collection of the ideas, patterns, and lessons that have consistently guided my work—many developed through experience, refined through collaboration, and, over time, reflected in practices that have since become common across our industry.
My passion has always been designing, building, and delivering products (on time) that empower and delight people >> become successful businesses <<. I've worked with behind products that have won awards, products that transformed industries, and products that never found their audience. >> Team's that looked for shortcuts, compromised and were not honest about validating their direction ultimately resulting in failed ventures. Across all of those experiences, one lesson has remained constant: successful products rarely hinge on a single breakthrough. They emerge from thousands of thoughtful decisions, respectful conversations, informed trade-offs, continuous validation, and a shared commitment to solving real human problems. Whether designing a child's first interaction with a computer or enterprise software supporting global organizations, I've always tried to understand the bigger picture, then break complexity down into practical, incremental steps that balance vision with delivery—finding not only the Minimum Viable Product, but the Minimum Desirable Product that people genuinely want to use.
While these highlights primarily reflect my own thinking and approach, none of this work happened in isolation. Every meaningful product is the result of talented people working together across design, engineering, product, research, marketing, and leadership. Products are ultimately a reflection of the teams that build them. I've dedicated a separate section to the people, partnerships, and cultures that made these outcomes possible. This page focuses instead on the evolution of the ideas, methods, and perspectives that have shaped my career—and continue to influence how I approach design today.

My passion has always been designing, building, and delivering products that empower and delight people. Throughout my career, I've worked with teams behind products that have won awards, as well as products that didn't meet market expectations. Those experiences taught me that great products often start with a simple idea, but their success is the result of thousands of decisions, thoughtful trade-offs, curiosity, discipline, and a shared commitment to solving real human problems. Whether designing a child's very first experience with a computer or enterprise software used by millions around the world, the underlying challenge has always been the same: creating experiences that feel intuitive, purposeful, and genuinely useful
