I’ve spent over 20 years evangelizing design within organizations, creating the conditions for teams to do their best work—whether in high-growth startups or at some of the world’s largest companies. My career has spanned the pioneering days of the internet, 15 years at Microsoft evolving from CD-ROM to SaaS, Amazon’s complex software ecosystems and hardware products, and pre-IPO startups like UiPath, where I built the design infrastructure that enabled teams to scale without losing focus on craft. Across every role, one theme has remained constant: helping design thrive.
UX Design
My roots are in human-centered design—shaping products and experiences that balance user needs with business goals. I’ve worked hands-on across the UX lifecycle: identifying market opportunities, guiding research, prototyping, testing, driving quality through delivery, and launching experiences that serve millions of users.
Whether it’s introducing new user workflows, building reusable systems, or bridging design and engineering, I bring a pragmatic yet user-first perspective to every challenge.
UX Design Leadership
I believe products reflect the teams behind them. Great design leadership isn’t about dictating outcomes—it’s about creating clarity, systems, and culture so designers and their partners can do their best work.
I’ve led cross-functional initiatives across design, product, and engineering by building rituals like critiques, design workshops, project management systems, and executive reviews that keep teams aligned and moving forward. My leadership also extends to key business functions, including:
- Recruitment & hiring strategies that build strong, diverse teams
- Career development programs that nurture growth and retention
- Budget optimization to ensure design scales sustainably while delivering impact
Grounded in systems thinking, collaboration, and trust, my approach empowers teams to focus on meaningful outcomes while ensuring stakeholders remain aligned.
UX Operations & Design Systems
In many ways, I’m at my best building the connective tissue of design organizations. I’ve often been described as a relationship builder who makes complexity manageable.
- Introduced tools like Figma and Atlassian JIRA to streamline collaboration
- Developed playbooks, pattern libraries, and scalable frameworks that turn ambiguity into clarity
- Piloted AI-driven workflow automations to reduce overhead and give designers space for craft
My work in design operations and program management consistently ensures that teams not only deliver great design but do so in alignment with broader business goals.
